Jamshedpur, April 25: Unidentified thieves took away cash and valuables worth Rs 30,000 belonging to one Hussain Ansari from a shop in Sakchi on Sunday evening, police said.
An FIR has been lodged in this connection. Cops said the incident took place when the thieves laid their hands on a bag being carried by Ansari’s wife during shopping. The couple had purchased clothes and other items from a Sakchi-based mall. Ansari’s wife had kept her bag on a table. The bag disappeared in no time as Ansari’s wife got busy in shopping more clothes. The couple raised an alarm to catch the thief but to no avail. Sakchi police reached the scene and began investigation into the incident. The couple accused the shop staff of being hand in glove with the thieves.
