Jamshedpur, Sept. 6 : A delegation of All India Sikh Students Federation on Friday met CM Raghubar Das demanded land to be allotted to the Sikh community to build a cremation ground for their community so they can perform the last rites of their loved ones in line with their ancient traditions.
President Satnam Singh Gambhir said they are forced to abandon the customary cremation of their dead. �”Our religion demands that we must perform a proper antim-sanskar of our dead but we are deprived of it,” he noted.
Das assured to take steps in this regard.
