Jamshedpur, June 9: Jamshedpur’s young Sikh preacher Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri has expressed deep resentment over Pakistan’s cleric, Moulvi Mufti Munir Ahmad Akhoon’s observations on Sikh Gurus.
Terming the Moulvi’s observations as “Unethical, hollow and ignorant observations,” Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri said, “The cleric’s misrepresentation of Sikh Gurus is a reflection of shallow thinking and ignorance about Sikh history.
The Moulvi has hurt the entire Sikh community’s sentiments with his objectionable remarks that will not at all be tolerated.” Jamshedpuri demanded that the cleric should apologize to the entire Sikh community immediately for his shameful and discriminatory statement and refrain from making further statements on Sikhs or Sikh Gurus. “He must immediately take back his words and apologise to the Sikh community that he has disgraced by his utterances on Sikhs and Sikh Gurus,” Harvinder Singh Jamshedpuri stated.
