Jamshedpur, March 6: City schools affiliated to CBSE, ICSE Board and Jharkhand Academic Council are all set to go into offline mode from tomorrow. As per the guidelines, classes from I to VIII will be held in offline mode from 7th March onwards. From the day of government notification, all schools here had begun preparations to resume physical classes after a long break.

At present, offline classes are being held in schools from class IX to XII.

Sources said the students not coming to attend the offline classes will still have the option to join online classes. The department of school education and literacy has directed schools to continue online classes like before. The schools will be able to call students to school to attend offline classes only after taking consent of their parents. Without consent, no one will be called for online classes, sources said.

Meanwhile, no instructions have been given by the government for holding final exams of students from class I to VIII. A decision is likely to be taken after March, sources said.
