Jamshedpur, Oct 20: Three students were injured in a clash between two group of students of Khalsa High School and Ram Mandir School, Bistupur at Golmuri on Thursday.
Two of the injured students were identified as Manisha and Saloni, both class 9 students of Ram Mandir School. A student of Khalsa School sustained head injury in the incident, sources said.
Sources said the students of the two schools fell out with each other outside Utkal Samaj High School, Golmuri, where they had come for exams. Khalsa School girl students had allegedly misbehaved with the girl students of Ram Mandir School. A complaint was made to the Principal of Khalsa School in this regard.
But no action was taken against the accused persons, said Ram Mandir students. Irked over the complaint, the Khalsa School students had threatened Ram Mandir students of taking revenge. After exam, both sides clashed outside the exam centre, sources said.
The schools said they would be conducting a probe into the incident.
