Jamshedpur: A private school in the city is facing allegations of misconceptions about farmers According to All India Sikh Students Federation National General Secretary Satnam Singh Gambhir, he will bring the fact to the notice of the state government about how efforts are being made to defame the farmers. It includes those so-called intellectual teachers who are seen with great reverence in the society.
According to Satnam Singh Gambhir, the farmers’ movement has been going on in the country for centuries. When there was wrong with the peasants, they opposed the king and changed the dynasty. We find the history of the movement of fair rent and fair harvest in ancient India as well as in the Mughal and British era. The farmer is the Annadata and we compare them with the gods.
The Gandhi era in the country dates back to the Champaran peasant movement of 1917. It was only after this peasant movement that the leadership of Gandhiji was accepted by the whole country. During the independence movement of the country, peasant movements took place in Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Hyderabad and Madras.
Vallabhbhai Patel, who has strengthened the unity and integrity of the country, is also the product of Kheda and Bardoli Kisan movement. At present, farmers are agitating in a non-violent manner, whereas more than 200 farmers have died. People like Deep Sidhu as a farmer have brought the farmer movement into disrepute. Deep Sidhu or similar chaotic elements are not synonymous with the farmer. In such a situation, the question to be asked is that the job of the farmer is to produce food, do not wield a sword. Making such a question is grossly foolish and is an attempt to misrepresent the giver and misrepresent the image of the farmers.
