Jamshedpur, October 25:. The restoration work of the incomplete Shri Lakshmi Narayan Temple located in Golmuri Cable Town started on the occasion of Vijaya Dashmi with Kar Seva on Tuesday.
Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Rai started the kar seva with a large number of people.
Bhoomi Pujan for the renovation of the temple was completed with a collective resolution. In the “Kar Seva” programme, the temple premises were cleaned and bleaching powder was sprinkled in the underground floor of the temple, where rain water had accumulated.
Before the “Kar Seva”, after worshiping the Mahavir flag in the Shri Hanuman temple located near the temple premises, the flag was installed in the temple premises.
Saryu Rai said that he will go to Banshidhar Nagar on October 27 to seek the guidance of revered Sant Jeeyar Swami Ji to set phased priorities for the temple construction work.
Sant Jeyar Swami ji is there in Chaturmas. Meanwhile, Acharya Kishore Kunal will visit Jamshedpur some day in the month of November to inspect the temple complex.
According to MLA Saryu Rai, convenor of the temple renovation committee, the temple committee will be expanded. Devotees who voluntarily contribute to the temple renovation work will be included in the committee.

On October 29, the temporary office of the temple renovation committee will be inaugurated in a building adjacent to the temple complex. The temple premises will be cleaned immediately and the restoration work of the sanctum sanctorum of the temple will be started. Besides, a small pond will be constructed in the north-east part of the temple complex which will be used for performing Chhath Puja and for carrying out temple renovation work.
