Jamshedpur, July 14: Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) is planning to construct three new parking lots in Sakchi.
Sources said the proposed parking spaces would be built near Sanjay Market, Tank Road and Galleria Mall. The small parking area near Hanuman Mandir at Sakchi would also be extended to accommodate more vehicles, said sources.
District administration had yesterday removed encroachment from Straight Mile Road. The freed place would be paved and barricaded to prevent further encroachment. Parking contractors have been strictly directed to limit their business within the stipulated zones and not beyond them, sources said.
