Jamshedpur: Rudrabhishek of Trishakti Shila for peace in society

Jamshedpur, May 3: The annual event of Akshay Tritiya was observed at Ati Uttam Shakti Darbar in Harhargutu where Rudrabhishek of Trishakti Shila was performed with water brought in from the Char Dham and offerings of various types of fruits and fruit juice.

Since Akshay Tritiya is observed along with Parshuram Jayanti, the incarnation of Lord Vishnu, the worship of Lord Parshuram too was performed. According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Parshuram is one of the eight immortals, Ashtachiranjeevis, and is believed to be present in Kaliyug.

The founder and chief priest of Ati Uttam Shakti Darbar, Bhakta Raja Suryadev Uttam Parmahans commenced prayers from 7 am. The Shakti Shila was richly and attractively decorated and prayers were performed for welfare, peace in society, happiness and prosperity for the country and purification of the environment, Havan, as per rituals of Samridhi Sashthi Yagna, was performed. A special worship of Lord Jagannath was conducted on the occasion.

Pandit Sushanto Nona, Ma Kullu Rani, Kritika Kalyani, Divyanshi, Suryanshi, Raj Deep, Sanjay, Kishan, Priya, Pankaj, Rustam and others organized this religious event. Prasad and gifts were offered to all the devotees present on the occasion.
