Jamshedpur: The Subernarekha and Kharkai rivers have risen above their danger marks, prompting urgent advisories for residents in low-lying areas to stay alert and take safety precautions.

At the Mango bridge site, the Subernarekha is flowing at 121.60 metres, slightly exceeding the danger level of 121.50 metres.

The Kharkai River at Adityapur bridge has reached 130.65 metres, well above its danger mark of 129 metres. Authorities are closely monitoring the situation and urging everyone to remain vigilant and avoid venturing near riverbanks.
