Chaos Points: The Geometry of Human Conflict

Snehashree Mandal

What are chaos points?

Each and everything that does not align with nature is a point of chaos.
Each and everything that does not align with each other is also a chaos.
Two people together will be treated by nature as two individual chaos points.
Two different kinds of objects or living beings, when they come in contact, treat each other as chaos points.
Our clashes around everything—ideologies, ideas, ways of living, thought processes, and principles—are not just coming from these points. In fact, it’s coming from a point deeper than that; it is coming from the very point where the existence of two different men itself is a point of chaos.
We know no two men think alike.
Which means right now or since times immemorial, each and everything on this planet is actually at war with the others.
Eight billion against one man, along with all the different trees and animals, protozoa, bacteria, annelids, mollusks, marine, and freshwater beings.
But then we can question how some of us are living under one banner.
Humans over time learned that they cannot kill everyone since they also need them. Thus, they created broader perimeters of understanding, and whoever agreed to the broader perimeters could stay under one banner, ignoring or refusing the smaller differences or limiting it to squabbles or minor arguments at the max. It often contributed to killings, hatred and served as tiny chaos protons and the oppression that followed gave birth to a vicious underworld, in fact, even contributed solely to its need to exist.
Nations were built, religions were made, and societies were formed to respect human differences and to give them a way to live forward.
Ask a tribe of killers or soldiers if they wanted to thrust the bullet into a person; they might say they didn’t want to, but they did it since their superiors told them to do so.
How do we all stay together at a time when old ways are seeming to lose their significance?
Earlier, men built houses in ways that suited their climatic conditions.
Now, men have air conditioning systems, and hence they can build a home of any shape and size since artificial ways of temperature maintenance is no longer a factor that controls it’s shape and size anymore.
Similarly, we have modernized ourselves to such an extent that we have won over the differences that existed earlier, and now these very steps have created newer points of differences.
How do we learn to not create any other differences yet solve the existing differences?
How do we create a safer world for all?
The answer to both these questions will start from the point of our intent.
What do we intend to do with everyone?
How do we want to treat everyone?
As options, liabilities, or as partners or brothers?
If we have a global-scale answer to this question, we can then start building a new world where old problems are eliminated without the need to create new ones.
A clear, concise, and compact understanding around this point is what will serve as the stepping stone for moving ahead.
Where does it take us?
Back to square one, where our ancestors began.
But it also gives us the chance to unify, use the old knowledge to build something that can see the consequences of an action way before and with 8 billion people, remaining trees and animals working unanimously towards a common intent and several goals how hard a task can it be for anyone.
As of now, we just know our options, and each man is doing what they are capable of, what they have learned from their ancestors, like the adage, “which blood runs in whom becomes that very version.”
But coming to a common point and by fixing our intent, we can choose “choice” over “slavery.” We are not slaves who have to become what our bloodlines were; we have to become what we choose to become. Our bloodlines might have made choices as per their needs.
Everyone here is making choices, but only at individual or at some societal levels. This very act of choosing the right intent has to extrapolate to a global level. A common consensus will need to be reached on this so that people can stop hopping between the options- a liability, an option or as a comrade as and when they deem fit.
It would form the first step towards responsible living. As of now, everyone just claims to be acting responsibly, but we are not moving ahead anywhere which means we are not fixing our intent. We deliberately keep all the three choices open for men to choose as they please.
The rampant global show needs to be replaced with reality.
How do we do it?
Create an action without consequences?
By understanding how actions are bound, we can achieve this feat. Instead of causing more irrelevant actions, it is essential that the world sits together and finds a way forward by understanding the basic mechanics of action. It is a step we all owe to the future in the making.
