Jamshedpur: Revised Code of Ethics for CAs from July 1

Jamshedpur, June 13: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI), Jamshedpur chapter organized a webinar on the digital platform for its members on Saturday, June 13. ICAI Jamshedpur secretary Sugam Saraiwala said that the main speakers in the vent were Central Council members, Chartered Accounts Kemisha Soni from Indore and Chandrashekhar Bej from Mumbai. Jamshedpur chapter CA Ramakant Gupta conducted the webinar.
The main speakers emphasized that the respect for chartered accountants was based on their special knowledge and their high benchmark related to ethics. They said that the Code of Ethics was amended from time to time in order to ensure that the high standards set in the profession were maintained.
The speakers the Code was amended in keeping with international standards and protocol changes in order that chartered accountants followed the norms and took the standards to higher levels. The welcome address was given by ICAI chairman Sanjay Goyal while the vote of thanks was offered by Yogesh Sharma. More than 100 chartered accountants in the city participated in the webinar.
