Jamshedpur residents chase away land mafia 

Jamshedpur, September 9: Irate residents chased away an alleged land mafia came who had come to cordon off the temple land at Burmamines.

The locals alleged that this is not the first time that the land mafia and the residents came face to face.

Actually, the said land was captured by a Mahant named Chand Baba in the name of the temple, the residents say that Chand Baba sold the land to a land mafia named Amar Chaubey. This matter has been going on for days. Religious programs have been taking place on the said land for years.

Due to the dispute, Section 144 is applicable on the said land, despite this, today once again the land mafia has come to lay siege to the land. The residents told that they will sacrifice their lives but will not allow the temple land to be captured.

On the other hand, as soon as information about the matter was received, the police of Burmamines police station reached the spot and pacified the matter by convincing both the parties. The police have called both the parties to the police station.
