Jamshedpur, June 12: Jamshedpur on Saturday reported zero new COVID-19 deaths, leaving the district’s death toll unmoved for the second consecutive day. Jamshedpur also reported 51 positive cases while 91 people recovered of the virus on Friday.
Active Covid-19 cases in the district has dropped down to 722 after 91 patients were discharged from hospitals and Covid care centres on Saturday. Of the 762 patients still undergoing treatment for the coronavirus in the district, most are in home isolation, while some are being treated at care centres and hospitals.
Meanwhile, Jamshedpur reported 51 new cases, which took its overall tally to 51,211.

More than 4000 were tested on the day. Data from the state government’s daily health bulletin showed that the Covid-19 test positivity is 1.21%.The state, too, witnessed a massive fall in infections and fatalities.
The overall death toll in the East Singhbhum has reached 1044 and the total cases 51211.
The positivity rate of Covid-19 cases in Jamshedpur is around 1.21 per cent after East Singhbhum conducted over 4000 tests in the last 24 hours. The Steel City tested 4226 samples, of which, 51 turned out positive while 91 people recovered from the Covid-19 on Saturday, June 12. The continuous high number of tests have pushed the positivity rate further down to 1.21 per cent, the government data showed.
The recovery rate has climbed to 96.65% while the active cases have come down to 722.

East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 372104 test per million in the district.
As per the records of health department out of 4226 people who underwent Covid tests in East Singhbhum 51 were found positive.
Over 4000 COVID-19 tests, including 1274 RT-PCR and 2637 RAT were conducted in the last 24 hours in the city.
The recovery rate in Jamshedpur is 96.65% while the mortality rate is 2.04%.
So far in Jamshedpur 997834 samples have been collected out of which 990542 have been tested and 939331 have turned out to be negative.
