Jamshedpur reports Covid death after 5 months

Jamshedpur, March 13: The new H3N2 virus has raised concerns in the country. Although its confirmed cases have not been found in Jamshedpur till now, but after about five months, an 86-year-old Telco resident died of Covid on Sunday. It is said that the person was hospitalized for a long time and was Covid positive. On October 15, 2022, a patient died for the last time from Corona. In this way, 1142 people have died due to Covid in the district so far.

On the other hand, the number of active cases of Corona is two. At the same time, the number of patients suspected of H3N2 influenza is increasing rapidly. Virus investigation has been started in MGM and TMH. The virus is being continuously investigated. Hospitals have been alerted regarding this. Hospitals have also been asked to make arrangements for this. Information has been received about 2679 such suspected patients coming in just 72 hours.
