Jamshedpur murder: Suspected killer of husband to be sent to Rinpas

Jamshedpur, March 13: Police is preparing to send Meera Singh, wife of Amarnath Singh, who was taken into custody after the death of  her husband at Subhash Colony of Ulidih police station area, to RINPAS in Ranchi.

Meera Singh is suffering from mental ailment. Meera Singh had brought two bags from her house and is constantly changing her statements. Meera’s son and daughter also came to Jamshedpur. The police interrogated him. Both have refused to take Meera with them.

After this, the police is busy preparing to send Meera to Rinpas in Ranchi. Meera Singh’s medical has been done at MGM Hospital. After the report of the doctors, the police will send Meera to Rinpas. On Monday, Vijay Shankar of City SP said that on the application of Om Amrit Singh, son of Amarnath Singh, the police have registered a case of unnatural death and started investigation. The post mortem report is awaited. Further action will be taken on basis of post mortem report.

Significantly, on March 10, the dead body of Amarnath Singh was found in the house in Subhash Colony of Ulidih. His son called the police and informed about it. When the police arrived, after a lot of effort, Meera Singh was taken into custody and brought to the police station and the body was sent for postmortem. Amarnath Singh’s dead body was in very bad condition. It seemed that he had died several days ago. But, Meera Singh did not inform anyone in this regard and she used to keep the dead body at home.
