Jamshedpur, March 13: While busting the vehicle thieves gang, the Rajnagar police arrested the leader of the gang, Majhiya Tudu and sent him to jail on Monday. The police have recovered a stolen SUV (Sumo Victa) along with a motorcycle and bike on the basis of the interrogation of the arrested accused Majhia Tudu.
While addressing the press conference, Sub-Divisional Police Officer Harvinder Singh told that on the basis of secret information, a vehicle checking campaign was conducted by the Rajnagar police on the Main Road near the police station on March 12. During this, a silver colored Sumo Victa started running after seeing the police, which was chased and caught by the police.
During the police investigation, the registration number of Sumo Victa recovered from Majhiya Tudu was found to be wrong. The SDPO said that at his instance an auto, a motorcycle, two motorcycle locks were broken, a Dell company monitor, a CPU and two moped bikes without number plates were recovered. He told that Majhiya Tudu is a resident of Lupung village under Tiring police station of Mayurbhanj, Odisha and has a criminal antecedent and had been to jail.
