Jamshedpur, Oct 28: MGM Hospital was once again in the news for negligence after the death of a patient.
Angry relatives of the deceased patient created a ruckus in the hospital premises and police had to be called in to pacify the protestors. After a while, the superintendent of the hospital, Dr. Ravindra Kumar reached the spot, and assured of action after proper investigation.

According to reports, Rudra, a resident of Rupaidanga, was brought to MGM Hospital at 6 pm on the complaint of headache, where he died during treatment at 3 am. Family members told that when he was admitted, his condition was bad. He was given an injection. At night, he was fitted with an almost empty oxygen cylinder, which became empty within a short time. The information about the empty cylinder was given to the staff present in the hospital, after which the employees installed another oxygen cylinder after a while. Meanwhile, Rudra died. Regarding the matter, Superintendent Dr. Ravindra Kumar said that according to the paper, the patient was admitted at 12.10 pm. As far as the installation of empty oxygen cylinders is concerned, it is first tested before installing the oxygen cylinder. He however assured of investigation.
