Jamshedpur, Oct 14: East Singhbhum district reported 59 corona positive cases while 1 person succumbed to the virus on Wednesday, October 14.
Positive tally has climbed to 15068 while the death toll has reached 338 with 1 death on Wednesday. 73 people recovered of the virus taking the total recovery to 13413 while total active cases in Jamshedpur are 1317.
The district administration spokesperson informed that 59 corona positives have been identified in the East Singhbhum district on Wednesday. East Singhbhum district administration has conducted 88439 test per million in the district. The mortality rate in East Singhbhum district is 2.2 % while recovery rate has climbed to 89%.
In Jharkhand 6 people died of the virus while 633 were reported positive on Wednesday. Ranchi reported maximum 263 positive cases. 2 each from Ranchi and Dhanbad, and 1 each from West Singhbhum and Jamshedpur succumbed to the virus.
The death toll has reached 811 while positive tally has reached 94,369 of which 86367 people have recovered including 1053 on Wednesday. The active cases in the state are 7191.
