Jamshedpur: Railway orders vacating of land in Bagbera, demolition on hold

Jamshedpur, August 22: The Tatanagar Railway Engineering Department has issued a notice to Pramod Bhagat to vacate the land in Bagbera Naya Basti. The railway authorities have halted their demolition campaign but have instructed Bhagat to vacate the land and demolish the partially constructed house within the next two months. Failure to comply will result in the use of a bulldozer to remove the structure.

Approximately a month and a half ago, railway employees had attempted to demolish the house, but the effort was postponed after local residents assured that the land would be vacated. The new deadline reflects the railway’s determination to reclaim the land and address the unauthorized construction.
