Jamshedpur Radio Listeners Association pays tribute to Ameen Sayani 

Jamshedpur, February 24:  Jamshedpur Radio Listeners Association paid tribute to acclaimed radio announcer Ameen Sayani at a program held on Friday.

Ameen Sayani passed away Tuesday night after suffering a massive heart attack.
President of the Listeners’ Association,  Sunit Kumar said that Jamshedpur Radio Listeners’ Association was established in 1965 and after that, late Amin Sayani ji has always had an unbroken relationship with the Jamshedpur Radio Listeners’ Association. In 1977, on the occasion of the silver jubilee of Binaca Geet Mala, Radio Listeners Association was invited to Mumbai by Late Amin Sayani ji. From time to time he also corresponded with the Jamshedpur Radio Listeners Association. Dialogues of some very senior members, Manohar Mahajan, V Raman, Bharat Bhushan were also read out by Sunit Kumar.
On this occasion, other members made their statements about him.
On this occasion, bhajans and some emotional and painful songs were also sung.
About 40 members of the Listeners Association participated in the condolence meeting.
