Jamshedpur, Feb 24: Abhishek Shukla, the President of Student AJSU at Ranchi University, issued a press release demanding CBI investigation into the paper leak case. Shukla expressed concern over the delay in filing an FIR against the culprits involved under the Paper Leak Law Act 2023, even after 25 days since the incident.
According to Shukla, the formation of an SIT by the state government appeared to be aimed at protecting the perpetrators rather than taking action against them. He alleged possible involvement of high-ranking government officials in the JSSC CGL paper leak case, suggesting that the state government was endeavoring to shield them.
The resignation of former JSSC President Neeraj Sinha, Shukla claimed, indicated the government’s attempt to downplay the issue instead of addressing its root cause. The paper leak issue had sparked anger among JSSC CGL candidates and youth.
Shukla highlighted a pattern of controversy surrounding vacancies released by the state government since 2019, emphasizing that every examination during the government’s tenure had been embroiled in controversy.
“AJSU vows to continue the agitation until a CBI investigation is initiated into the JSSC CGL paper leak case, FIRs are withdrawn against protesting students, and culprits involved in the paper leak are brought to justice,” the release mentioned.
