Jamshedpur, June 8: Hundreds of protestors took to streets here in different parts of the city to condemn the brutal killing of a toddler, Twinkle, in Aligarh. Terming the incident as highly disturbing and most abhorrent of acts, they demanded capital punishment for the girl�s killers.
Members of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena took out a protest march in Sakchi and later gathered at Sakchi roundabout. Several other social and political outfits also participated in the protest march. The protestors demanded measures to improve women�s security in the country.
They said women including minors were being raped and killed everyday across the country. Women are no more safe in society, they said, adding further that the state government should implement harshest laws to deal with crimes against women.
