Jamshedpur, April 9: Power went off for around an hour in and around the city on Saturday afternoon. According to Sukanya Das, spokesperson, Tata Steel UISL, the situation was created due to power isolation at DVC. The power supply was finally restored around 1.54 pm. Due to the sudden power cut, people faced a tough time due to the high mercury level and lack of alternative arrangements. Similar situation was seen at the city outskirts for some time, sources said.
