Jamshedpur Pool party turns violent, three injured

Jamshedpur, June 8: A pool party at Dolphin Club in Mango on Sunday evening descended into chaos after a dispute between two groups escalated into a violent clash, leaving three people, including a young woman, injured.
The incident occurred at the club located under the MGM police station area, where a private pool party had been organized by Mita Feast.
The venue had reportedly been booked in advance, and entry passes were distributed for the event scheduled from 1 pm to 7 pm. More than 250 youths from Jamshedpur and nearby areas attended the gathering.
According to eyewitnesses, the atmosphere remained festive during the initial hours of the event. However, tensions flared as the evening progressed and alcohol consumption increased. A verbal altercation between two groups soon spiralled into a physical confrontation, with participants exchanging punches and kicks.

Four bouncers deployed at the venue attempted to restore order but were unable to control the situation as the violence intensified.
The clash triggered panic among attendees, particularly women and young girls, leading to scenes of chaos and a brief stampede-like situation as people rushed to leave the premises.
In receiving information, MGM police station officer-in-charge Sachin Kumar reached the spot with a police team.
By the time police arrived, most of those involved in the violence had fled.
Several individuals were detained for questioning as part of the investigation.
Police said the organisers had not obtained the necessary administrative permission to conduct the event. Officer-in-charge Sachin Kumar stated that appropriate legal action would be initiated if a formal complaint is lodged.
Attempts to contact the organisers yielded little response.
Mita Ghosh reportedly disconnected a phone call seeking comment, while Satyajit Singh could not be reached.
Meanwhile, club operator Shambhu Choudhary, speaking over the phone from Delhi, said he was out of town but had been informed about the altercation at the club.
Police are continuing their investigation to ascertain the circumstances that led to the violence and identify those involved in the clash.
