Art Workshop ‘SHIMUL-26’ begins in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, June 8: A two-day art workshop titled “SHIMUL-26” began on Sunday at Sakchi High School in Jamshedpur. The workshop has been jointly organised by the Artist Forum of Jamshedpur and Sakchi High School with the aim of promoting creativity and artistic talent among participants.

Artists and invited guest Purabi Ghosh attended the inaugural programme and encouraged participants to continue nurturing their artistic skills.

The workshop has brought together art enthusiasts, students and local artists from different parts of the city. Organisers said the programme has been designed to provide a platform for learning, interaction and creative expression through various forms of art.

The closing ceremony of the workshop will be held on June 9. Several distinguished guests, including Jyoti Mathru, Sree Kanth Katare, Kumar Vivek, Sanjay Kumar and Samanta Kumar, are expected to attend the concluding programme.

Organisers expressed hope that the workshop would inspire young artists and strengthen the city’s cultural and artistic activities.
