Jamshedpur, June 9: A case of alleged police misconduct has emerged in Parsudih involving a prominent BJP leader, Ram Prasad Jaiswal, whose house was reportedly forcefully entered by policemen, resulting in a scuffle with family members. In response to this incident, a delegation from the BJP, led by Gunjan Yadav, the Jamshedpur Mahanagar President, met with the Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) of the district, demanding appropriate legal action against Ram Prasad Jaiswal and his family members for their alleged misbehavior towards the policemen.

During the meeting, which was attended by Parsudih Mandal President Tridev Chattaraj, MP representative Sanjeev Kumar, and other party leaders, a memorandum was submitted to the Senior Superintendent of Police, urging a thorough investigation into the matter and subsequent legal measures.

According to the complaint letter accompanying the memorandum, Ram Prasad Jaiswal stated that on Tuesday, June 6, between 11 pm and 11:15 pm, he and his family were asleep at their residence when they heard knocking on their door. Shortly thereafter, the door was forcefully broken down, and several policemen entered their home, subjecting them to verbal abuse, physical assault, and manhandling. The intruders also ransacked the house, which Ram Prasad Jaiswal documented through photographs submitted to the Senior Superintendent of Police.
