Jamshedpur: The East Singhbhum district police on Friday will organize ‘Jan Shikayat Samadhan’ at Michael John Auditorium in Bistupur to improve better coordination between the public and the police.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Kishore Kaushal informed the media that a mobile number (9471167577) and an email ID (Janshikshakjsr@gmail.com) have been issued for people to connect with the police.
The SSP further added that on reaching out the police, the complainant will receive an immediate acknowledgment and will be informed once their problem is resolved.
The program which started on September 4, 2024, has already received 16 complaints, including one related to cybercrime, for which a case has been registered.
SSP further informed that the event will start at 10 AM on Friday.
The SSP urged people to come forward in large numbers and take advantage of this opportunity to get their grievances addressed by the police.
