Singhal, and other Rotarians like Dr. Vijaya Bharat, Jagannath Santra, PP Madhumita Santra, Hiba and Anju Singh. The Eye Check-up was conducted from 10:00 AM to 01:00 PM and in total 30 people (20 Female and 20 Male) turned up for the eye check-up. 3 People were diagnosed for Cataract and 10 people were recommended for using eye glasses (spectacles).

Whereas 35 people turned up for the general body health check-up.  8 people were diagnosed with high sugar and 4 people were diagnosed with high blood pressure. These people were referred to the hospitals or better clinic to have further diagnosis and treatment.

These health check-ups conducted for the marginal income group; were received warmly by the people especially working in the zoo on outsourced basis or through vendors and everyone appreciated this activity of the zoo. They expect to have more such types of activities in the zoo in future targeting their wellbeing.
