Jamshedpur, Aug 9: After days of struggle the police recovered the severed head of the three-year-old girl child, who had been murdered after being raped by two men. The police recovered the head from Ramadhin Began, where in the dogs were eating the head.
The three-year-old girl was stolen from her mother’s lap at Tatanagar station platform No 2 on the night of July 25 around 11.40 pm, leading the young woman to lodge a complaint with the GRP, Tatanagar the next day.
The child was lifted while her mother was sleeping with her paramour in the night. Five days later, the police recovered the kid’s headless body from a bush near the ISWP fabrication unit boundary wall. Rinku Kumar, the 38-year-old culprit was arrested from his house at Ramadhin Bagan in Telco. Another person, 37-year-old Kailash Kumar, who is an accomplice of Sahu, was also arrested for being involved in the ghastly incident.
The mother lodged a missing complaint on July 26 morning and accused her paramour Monu Mondal, a resident of Rajmahal in Sahibganj of stealing her child along with his friends
One of the culprits had taken away the three-year-old girl Rafida Khatoon from the Tatanagar Station platform number 2 while her mother Rakima Khatoon, a resident of Hussainidih under Jhalda police station in Purulia district of Bengal was fast asleep on July 25.
Based on the FIR lodged by Rakima we sent Monu Mondal to Ghaghidih Jail for cheating the woman using fake name on July 29.
