Jamshedpur, June 18: In a bid to apprehend the accused involved in the assault and murder case of Chandrabhushan Singh on January 1, the Sidhgoda police took decisive action on Sunday. They pasted advertisements, accompanied by drums, at the residences of the absconding individuals near SDSM school under Sidhgoda police station. This move aimed to raise awareness among the local community regarding the ongoing investigation.
According to SI Ravi Ranjan, the lead investigator in the case, the incident occurred on the night of January 1, when Chandrabhushan Singh, a resident of Telco, was brutally assaulted. Tragically, Chandrabhushan Singh succumbed to his injuries during the course of treatment. While two individuals involved in the case have been arrested and subsequently incarcerated, two other prime suspects, Amit Singh from near Bagunhatu Ashram and Chirag Mukhi from Bhima Road, remain at large. In an effort to expedite their capture, the police took the step of pasting advertisements at the residences of both absconding accused. The notices serve as a warning, urging Amit Singh and Chirag Mukhi to surrender themselves to the authorities within a month. Failure to comply may result in further legal action, such as the attachment process
