Jamshedpur police launches extensive election awareness campaign across district

Jamshedpur: In a proactive initiative, the Jamshedpur Police took a significant step by inaugurating an extensive awareness campaign regarding elections throughout the district on Friday. City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat and Rural SP Rishabh Garg played pivotal roles in disseminating information about the importance of voting, reaching out to citizens across the area.

As part of the campaign, all police stations within the district actively engaged in raising awareness within their respective jurisdictions. To encourage participation in the electoral process, citizens were greeted with rose flowers, symbolizing the essence of civic duty and democratic responsibility.

City SP Mukesh Kumar Lunayat went beyond the regular venues and extended the campaign to the city’s old age home. Here, he interacted with the elderly residents, motivating them to exercise their right to vote and took the opportunity to listen to their concerns and challenges.

SSP Kishore Kaushal emphasized that the awareness program aligns with the directives of the Jharkhand Election Commission. Its primary objective is to motivate individuals from all sections of society who are eligible to vote, ensuring maximum participation in the democratic process. The district police has undertaken the responsibility of conducting this awareness campaign, which will extend to colleges, institutes, and various locations throughout the district in the coming days. The campaign aims to empower citizens with the knowledge and understanding of the significance of their vote in shaping the future of the community and the nation.
