Ranchi: In a recent announcement, the Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has disclosed important details for the upcoming 2024 Matriculation and Intermediate examinations. Students can submit online forms for the 11th-grade and Inter examinations without incurring a late fee until December 4th, with the corresponding challan payments accepted until December 8th. Late submissions will be allowed from December 7th to 11th, with the late fee payment deadline extended to December 15th.
The examinations are scheduled to commence on February 6, 2024, and conclude on February 26, 2024, with practical examinations occurring between February 29 and March 12, 2024. Admit cards can be downloaded from the Council’s website starting January 25, 2024. Shift timings for Matriculation and Intermediate exams are set from 9:45 am to 1:05 pm and 2 pm to 5:20 pm, respectively.
Challans generated after December 6 will incur a late fee. Additionally, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a circular addressing percentage calculation in board examination results, emphasizing that the board does not compute percentages, and students should refer to institution-specific requirements for obtaining percentages based on marks in any five subjects.
