Jamshedpur, September 26: Sidhgora police in Jamshedpur has taken major action against gamblers and liquor sellers.
On getting continuous complaints, burnt down a gambling den and drunkards’ den in Bagunhatu. Near the Bagunhatu dry pond, the traders had built scaffolding and set up a base there. All the miscreants used to sit there and consume liquor.
The police not only demolished the base there but also set it on fire so that no one would be able to sit ahead. During this time, all the unruly youths ran away after seeing the police.
