Postal Dept Honors Winners of ‘Deen Dayal SPARSH’, ‘Dhai Akhar’

Jamshedpur: The Singhbhum Division of the Postal Department organized an award ceremony to honor the winners of various letter-writing and philately competitions aimed at promoting education and creativity. Through this initiative, the department not only recognized the writing skills of young students but also sought to connect them with financial literacy.

Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana: 6 Students Receive Scholarships

Under the ‘Deen Dayal SPARSH Yojana’ competition, the department selected six meritorious children from the Singhbhum Division. Each winner received a scholarship check of 6,000 along with a Post Office Savings Account to encourage early savings habits.

The honored students include:

• Shree Krishna Public School: Umang Kumar Gupta, Anushka Kumari, and Aryaman Chaturvedi.

• Motilal Nehru Public School: Ms. Aradhya Srishti.

• Valley View School: Ronit Patra and Sajan Kumar Bhagat.

Tanisha Triumphs in ‘Dhai Akhar’ Competition

In the prestigious national-level ‘Dhai Akhar’ letter-writing competition, Jamshedpur’s Tanisha Kumari Pandey proved her mettle. Tanisha, a student of CM SOE (Girls School) Sakchi, secured second place in the entire state of Jharkhand in the under-18 category. The department presented her with a cash prize of 10,000 for this significant achievement.
