Jamshedpur, June 10: Mango police swiftly resolved a theft case reported in the Mango police station area of Jamshedpur on the night of June 8. Within 24 hours, the authorities apprehended the suspect, identified as Sheikh Mohammad Anwar alias Mohammad Anwar Hussain (26), and remanded him to judicial custody. Anwar, a resident of Ansar Nagar Demdubi in Kapali, was found in possession of stolen items, including an Android Oppo phone, Rs 850 in cash, silver anklets, a silver ring, and two Vivo phones, along with a golden-colored ladies purse.
DSP Headquarters One, Bhola Prasad Singh of Mango, stated that the theft occurred after a break-in at a residence on Mango Jawaharnagar Road No. 14, resulting in the theft of jewelry, mobile phones, and cash. Following the incident, Nazmun Nisha lodged a complaint with the police station. Promptly responding to the complaint, a team, with the assistance of Mango police station in-charge, launched an immediate investigation leading to the arrest of the suspect in Kapali, Seraikela Kharsawan district. The stolen items were recovered from Anwar. On Monday, he was remanded to judicial custody following interrogation.
