Jamshedpur, Jan 18: The Jamshedpur police are receiving praise for their swift action in recovering jewelry and valuables worth lakhs that a woman accidentally left in a hired vehicle in Galudih. The incident unfolded when Urmila Mahato, after a shopping trip to Galudih market, realized she had left behind a gold chain, four earrings, a nose ring, silver anklets, toe ring, collectively valued at approximately Rs 2 lakh, in the hired vehicle.
Upon realizing her loss after about three hours, Urmila promptly reported the incident to the police. In a commendable display of efficiency, the police located the vehicle and successfully retrieved all the lost gold and silver items. The woman’s gratitude towards the police for their quick response has underscored the positive impact of their timely intervention.
