Jamshedpur Police ASI faces sexual exploitation slur

Jamshedpur, December 2. A case of sexual exploitation of a woman by Assistant Sub Inspector of Police posted at Parsudih police station has come to light.

When the case was filed by the woman, the said Assistant Sub Inspector of Police made a compromise  with the woman and gave a cheque of Rs 9 lakh. But later that check also got bounced.

Now the woman is coming to SSP Jamshedpur demanding justice. Ruby Devi, wife of Mukesh Prasad, resident of Manifit of Telco police station area, had filed a case in Sakchi Mahila Police Station. It was said that she had gone to Telco police station to resolve the dispute with her husband. There he met Assistant Sub Inspector Shivshankar Prasad.

Shivshankar Prasad called the said woman to his house and asked her to leave her husband and had physical relation with the woman and also threatened the woman against divulging this.

Later Ruby Devi filed a case. After the case was filed, a written settlement was reached by paying Rs 9 lakh, but that cheque also bounced. Now again the said woman is pleading for justice. She reached the SSP of Jamshedpur and demanded action against the guilty police officer.

The said woman told that she had been intimidated and threatened for a long time. But now she has gathered the courage to approach the police again so that she can get justice.
