Jamshedpur, Jan 3: On the occasion of New Year, Jamshedpur’s young poet Ankita Sinha garnered a lot of applause from the audience at the Kavi Sammelan organized in Meerut, UP.
When it came to her poetry recitation, Ankita presented her ghazals compositions through which she emphasized that the order and meaning of certain words were changed for creating ghazal compositions. The Kavi Sammelan was organized by Karwan-e-Mohabbat Hindi Urdu All India Trust.
Several popular poets from all over the country presented their compositions to rousing response. The poets and lyricists who participated in the Kavi Sammelan included Mala Singh Meerthi, Mahua Tiwari from Chhattisgarh, Sushma Savera, Kavita Kusumkar Meerthi, Rachna Singh, Rajesh Sharma, Anand Pathak, Gurcharan Singh, Hunar Rasulpur and Wasim and others.
