Jamshedpur Placement firm owner nabbed for duping job seekers

3 absconding, fake passports, offer letters recovered

Jamshedpur, December 22: Sakchi’s Galaxy Consultancy director Sadhan Panda, who cheated people in the name of getting jobs in the Gulf, was caught and handed over to the police on Thursday.

Police also recovered 13 passports from his office.

Police allege that apart from cheating in the name of getting a job, Sadhan Panda also used to make fake passports. Police is interrogating Sadhan Panda at Sakchi police station.

While Deepak, Zuber and another woman working in Sadhan’s office are absconding. Galaxy Consultancy’s office is on the 4th floor of Shatabdi Tower, Sakchi.

One of the complainant Shahnawaz told that these people have taken money from many people in the name of getting them jobs. Shahnawaz had given Rs 30,000 to the consultancy for the job in Dubai. He was also caught with a fake offer letter. Apart from this, Faiz Ahmed, Shakeel Ahmed, Tanveer and Kashif Ali also gave money for the job. There are claims that he has cheated Rs 6 lakh.

Shahnawaz alleged that whenever those people used to ask about the job, it was avoided. Today all these people reached the office and caught the person running the office, Sadhan Panda, and handed him over to the police. Police is investigating the case.
