Jamshedpur, Oct 12: In Durga Puja, about one thousand outsourced health workers of Kolhan have not received their salaries causing deep resentment among them.
The employees have also complained to the Jharkhand State Medical and Public Health Employees Association. The association state unit general secretary Amarnath Singh has talked to all the outsourced agency management of Kolhan and demanded to pay the salary before Durga Puja.
The leader threatened that If the workers do not get their salary before Durga Puja, then all of them will be forced to go on strike and all the responsibility will be on the agency. Amarnath Singh said that more than two thousand outsourced health workers are deployed in Kolhan, but 50 percent of them have not received their salary. That is, about one thousand workers have not received salary, which is a matter of concern.
Amarnath Singh said that outsourced employees are working under Shiva Enterprises in MGM Hospital, Abhinav Enterprises in MGM Medical College, Sneha Enterprises in Jamshedpur Sadar Hospital, Sneha Enterprises in Seraikela and Abhinav Enterprises in Chaibasa.
