Jamshedpur: One killed in highway accident

Jamshedpur, April 22: A speeding truck ran over a cyclist on the National Highway 33 near Dhalbhumgarh on Friday. The victim, identified as Subal Nayak, a native of Rajabasa village under Shyamsunderpur police station area, was critically injured in the incident. He was taken to MGM Hospital where doctors pronounced him brought dead, sources said.

Sources said Subal was going to cut bamboos on his bicycle when the tragedy occurred. He was accompanied by three more cyclists, they said. The errant truck driver fled the scene after leaving behind the vehicle
