Jamshedpur: NHES alumni blood camp collects 125 units

 

Jamshedpur, Oct 8: The alumni members of Narbheram Hansraj English School (NHES) came together on October 7, to organize a ‘Blood Donation’ camp within the school auditorium. The event garnered an impressive turnout, with about 125 altruistic donors participating to contribute to this life-saving cause.

The Guest of Honour for the event was Nakul Kamani, President of the School Managing Committee, who added prestige to the occasion. Blood Bank of Jamshedpur efficiently managed the proceedings ensuring the smooth collection and handling of blood donations.

The alumni members displayed unwavering dedication and enthusiasm in their efforts to make this event a resounding success, exemplifying their commitment to the welfare of the community. Nakul Kamani took a moment to appreciate and acknowledge the tireless work put in by the Alumni members in organizing this noble and life-saving initiative.

Earlier, the event commenced with a solemn ceremony, marked by the lighting of the ceremonial lamp. Nakul Kamani along with Devang Gandhi, Joint Secretary, and other distinguished members of the Managing Committee, former Principal Dipa Sengupta, and the school’s current Principal, Paramita Roy Chaudhury, inaugurated the proceedings.

Among the esteemed guests present at this occasion were Vijay Anand Moonka, President of the Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI), Manav Kedia, General Secretary of SCCI, Suresh Sonthalia, and several other members of the Chamber of Commerce.
