Jamshedpur: The 554th Prakash Parv of Shri Gurunanak Devji will be celebrated on 27th November. CGPC is meeting every day regarding preparations for the event. In the meeting on Tuesday, CGPC took a strict decision keeping in mind the safety of Guru Pyari Sadh Sangat during Nagar Kirtan. Dangerous stunts performed by Gatka teams were banned. CGPC President Sardar Bhagwan Singh said that Gatka teams have been instructed not to perform risky and dangerous stunts. Use of blades, belts, blindfold stunts, fuel stunts, fire stunts and coconut breaking stunts have been stopped. On Prakash Parv, city kirtan will start from Bistupur Gurudwara.
Sardar Bhagwan Singh, Amarjeet Singh and Gurcharan Singh Billa said that serial numbers have been allotted to the groups participating in the Nagar Kirtan. Judges have been appointed to evaluate the performers in Nagar Kirtan. The responsibility of taking care of Palki Sahib will be on Taranpreet Singh Banni. In the city kirtan, the groups will be in order. This includes horsemen, Gatka Party (Mango, Sakchi, Tuiladungari), Nihang Jathebandi, Turban Bank, Sikh Wisdom, various schools, CGPC, Jagrati Manch, Akali Dal, Palki Sahib, Stree Satsang Sabha, cleaning team.
