Jamshedpur MP representatives advice JNAC to improve implementation of public amenity projects in Steel City

Jamshedpur, Nov 29: The future of Steel City’s development was discussed threadbare and ways to lend impetus to major civic projects were taken up during a meeting convened between a delegation consisting of representatives of the Jamshedpur MP, Bidyut Baran Mahato and the special officer of the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee, Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday.

The representatives of Mahato – Sanjiv Kumar (Jamshedpur), Chandra Shekhar Mishra (Jamshedpur-East) and Chittaranjan Verma (Jamshedpur-West) – discussed the status and progress of various projects concerning development, public amenities, and city transport in the Jamshedpur parliamentary constituency.

The three representatives of Mahato intimated Kumar about pending projects that have been awaiting proper implementation since long. They asked the special officer of JNAC to ensure that these projects are completed at the earliest and new projects taken up soon. Kumar directed the junior engineers associated with the concerned projects to speed up implementation.

During the meeting, the delegation also highlighted the issue of cleanliness in various parts of the JNAC jurisdiction and asked the notified area committee officials to improve civic amenities in all sections of the parliamentary constituency.

Projects of the 15th Finance Commission operating in JNAC’s jurisdiction were also discussed along with the means to speed up implementation. When the delegation brought up the Mango bus stand, Kumar informed the representatives that a tender had been floated and the project will soon get its final shape. The delegates then urged the JNAC authorities to ensure better upkeep and utilization of the community halls in various parts of the parliamentary segment.
