Jamshedpur, April 22: Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) celebrated Earth Day—2022 with participation of the faculty and students. The school had initiated a five-day waste segregation drive where students brought in different day-to-day waste products and disposed of them as per the guidelines of segregating dry and liquid waste.
The junior school students, on the occasion of Earth Day celebrations, by preparing seed balls for enhancing the flora-fauna green cover. It may be mentioned here that MNPS had constituted a tradition of presenting seed balls to guests and children on their birthdays.

The School’s senior students participated in a slogan writing contest on the theme, ‘Why Earth Day celebrations were important.’
Physics faculty, Dr Sweta Sharma’s session with the 12th graders of the science stream shed light on the topic, ‘Protect the Planet.’ She discussed on various aspects and effects of climate change in the realms of business, economy and ecology. The students’ were benefitted with more knowledge on the importance of a green earth to protect life in the world.
