Jamshedpur, Nov 27: With the plummeting mercury levels, a majority of private schools in the city have changed the morning school timings.
Sources said many schools have decided to run daily classes from 8 am onwards till 2 pm from tomorrow. School timing was changed by a few schools just a week ago. However the government schools have not changed their timing.
According to District Superintendent of Education (DSE), Nirmala Kumari Barelia, “No instructions have been issued by the education department regarding change in school timing. The schools have changed the daily timings on their own.”
