Jamshedpur MLA Saryu Roy assures full treatment support for tea attack victim

Jamshedpur, April 11: In a compassionate gesture, Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy has assured complete financial support for the treatment of a young girl, Mehndi, who suffered severe injuries after hot tea was allegedly thrown on her by miscreants.
Taking to social media platform X, Roy stated that there would be no shortage of funds in her treatment and that medical care would continue uninterrupted until she fully recovers.
He further informed that the Tata Steel management has agreed to ensure that treatment at Tata Main Hospital will not be halted even if bills remain pending. Roy personally assured that all outstanding medical expenses would be arranged from his end.
The assurance has drawn widespread appreciation online, with many praising the humanitarian approach.
Notably, a day after the incident, Roy had directed his representatives, along with local party leaders, to visit the hospital and ensure that the victim was receiving proper care without any hindrance. Detailed updates were subsequently shared with him.
This is not the first instance of Roy stepping forward in times of distress. Over the years, he has consistently extended help beyond political lines, reinforcing his image as a leader driven by empathy and public service.
