Jamshedpur, March 1: Three persons were injured when a speeding auto-rickshaw knocked down a stationary car near Dimna Chowk under Olidih police station area on Tuesday.
The victims, identified as Ajit Dalai, Shubham Dalai and Ratna Dalai, residents of Hume Pipe Area, Chhayanagar, were taken to MGM Hospital. Ratna and Shubham were discharged after first aid while Ajit was admitted to the emergency ward. Ajit sustained injuries in legs and chest, sources said.
Sources said the incident occurred around 1.30 pm when the said auto-rickshaw rammed into the car parked on the road side at high speed. The victims were sitting inside the auto-rickshaw. They were returning from Galudih after performing puja on the occasion of Mahashivratri.
