Jamshedpur Metalsa to give Rs 11 lakh each to kin of 3 drowned kids

Seraikela, May 4: Metalsa company has decided to give a compensation of Rs 11 lakh each to the next of kin of the three kids drowned in a tank inside the Adityapur-based company, sources said.

Sources said a bipartite meeting between the families of the deceased kids and the company management was held at Tulsi Bhavan, Bistupur, to discuss the compensation issue. Kharsawan MLA Dashrath Gagrai had taken the initiative to put pressure on the company management to give compensation to the bereaved families.

Three children had entered the Metalsa company premises several days back in order to bathe in the tank. All three drowned one after the other after some time. Their family members later blamed the company management for the mishap and blocked the company gate to demand compensation.
